No formal preparation is requested before the event.

An engineering degree is not required for judging in the competition.

The contribution is based on who can provide valuable feedback based on their experience.

Judges fill out a questionnaire (judge scorecard) based on the presentation and Q&A.

The judge questionnaire is provided in the email with the judging assignment, and also available as a QR code in the event track introduction, and a web link in the zoom chat.
How to sign up for judging
To indicate your interest in judging, please check the box while registering:
- Select "Yes" in "Interested in Judging? *
- You will be contacted by the I2G Team about the Track or Teams to judge
You can also express your interest in judging for Innovate to Grow for the current or future events by contacting our I2G team at: i2g@ucmerced.edu

IN PERSON:
- if you join in person, you are encouraged to join the Expo and visit first teams you will judge,
- check the schedule to find the Room (or Zoom link) of your assigned Track,
- go to room (or I2G home page i2g@ucmerced.edu ) 10 minutes before the presentations start,
- make sure you use the correct Judging form for the track you judge,
- you are invited to the Award Ceremony and Networking reception.
