Innovate To Grow - Production Judges

We thank you for you as a judge of the Innovate to Grow teams!

To indicate your interest in judging, please check the box while registering:

• Register in Eventbrite- (Link to be added)
• Select "Yes" in "Interested in Judging?"
• You will be contacted by the I2G Team about the Track or Teams to judge

Instructions for Judges- (Term, Year) Innovate to Grow - Online

You have been assigned to judge one set of presentations designated by one of seven zoom rooms. You will need an authenticated zoom account (that is connected to your email address), online evaluation forms, and the capacity to ask questions via chat. Please prepare for judging by checking your technology and opening evaluation forms:

1. Zoom Preparation:

   • If you do not have experience with Zoom meetings, please make yourself familiar with joining, chat for Q&A, audio / video settings, etc.
   • If you do not have a confirmed Zoom account, you may sign up here for Zoom prior to the event.

2. EVALUATION FORM preparation: prior to judging, open in te browser window or on your mobile device the following I2G pitch evaluation form. Please notice that:

   • Submit a response to start the next evaluation, or the form may not clear
   • If the browser hangs or crashes, and you reopen the form, you may need to complete the previous response
   • If you need to complete a form to reset it, make sure you make a note in the comments section to disregard this entry.

3. REVIEW ASSIGNMENT

   • Review the judging assignment you received by email, or immediately contact innovatetogrow@ucmerced.edu to resend instructions
   • Live event is online (Time: TBD): got to innovatetogrow.ucmerced.edu
   • Select the previously assigned Zoom Room (sent via email)

4. JOIN ZOOM ROOM

   • Sign in Zoom with your authenticated Zoom account
   • Search the Track you have been assigned to judge on
   • Join the assigned Zoom Room at innovatetogrow.ucmerced.edu
   • If your Zoom Name appears different than your registration name, please indicate your First and Last Name that when you join a Room, to enable identification in Rooms
   • You will be admitted to the Room, and allowed to submit Questions via Chat.

5. SUBMIT EVALUATIONS

   • Use the I2G pitch evaluation from for each team you judge
   • You may complete the evaluations by the end of day (Time: TBD)

Important notes on Zoom accounts and Rooms:

• If you plan to join a Zoom Room, you will need an authenticated Zoom account: that is, one that is linked to your email address and approved by clicking the email confirmation.
• If you do not have a confirmed Zoom account, you may sign up here for Zoom prior to the event.
• Depending on registrations and availability in the room, it may take a moment to gain access, so plan to be at innovatetogrow.ucmerced.edu and join 15 minutes before start.
• Final links to Zoom rooms, schedule of teams, and evaluation forms will be available before I2G starts at:innovatetogrow.ucmerced.edu
